picked up the sequel of this at a used bookstore so I started to read it. Would have REALLY fwed it in high school. However now it's juvenile but it is YA. Very 2000s, bush era. Don't like how the MC speaks about homeless people and used a slur for trans ppl but it is a pretty dated book
