Now into the meat. How decisions made by government gave monopolistic companies the tools to make life shitty for us all. And if you are a corporation how can you NOT take advantage of these ways of screwing everyone over for a buck? Especially with no concequences?

Start with case studies of Facebook, Amazon, iPhone and Twitter. Company is awesome to users and gets lots of them hooked. Then good to businesses that want to sell to those users (at cost of users) making the platform essential to businesses. Then when both users and business are hooked/trapped make everything shitty in service to the company (stolkholers) and drain all the money but the two ends can't get out.
