Mr Charington being a member of the thought police has not shocked me but i don’t remember anything that really foreshadowed it?? Also do we think I can finish this by tomorrow night LOL I have like 80 pages left and just hit part 3

Goldstein doesn’t half yap 😭 whilst I do think this section is interesting I think it’s just a bit overly repetitive and could feasibly be shortened and have the same effect?? idk sue me

I’m also still interested to see how this ends because it all feels so hopeless lol

So for the first page of Julia and Winston’s relationship I was like okay this is cute (I love a good age gap yearning moment) and then um. Winston ruined it.

Man I do not have high hopes for how Orwell is gonna write Julia (i may have been warned ❤️)

Okay still here but I just want to add I’m so excited to see where this book goes!! Like literally anything could happen here, will big brother be overthrown?? Will Winston be caught and killed?? I’m so lucky in the fact I’ve never had this book spoiled for me and I’m really excited to actually experience it over the next couple days lol
