sort of a difficult read in multiple ways. maybe i’m too picky, but the dialogue written feels simultaneously cheesy and inaccessible? the constant use of hippie slang is kind of throwing me off, and i’ve never been a fan of written pronunciations or other quirks in speech. the way women are used in this book is also like. insane. almost every woman in this is a fuck machine or related to doc.
