Was not expecting so much of Seren’s story to happen in this book! I feel like I already know everything that will be in the next one now.

Where was Scarlett during the poisoning, recovery, and confrontation of Lenora? Id have expected her to show up somewhere in this story considering they are best friends and going through literally the same thing…

lol. After allll those days that he refused to claim Tessa because he hadn’t explained the mate bond to her yet, he simply says he wants to claim her as his mate, she says yes, and then that’s it?? She knows enough about the Vultor to understand what that means, but HE doesn’t know that she knows anything at all still!

Soooo uncharacteristic of Korrin for him to leave Tessa and the pups alone at the cabin while he goes to the enclave to talk to Seren. Malrik approached the cabin just days ago… he’d never leave her alone with the threat of Malrik returning still lingering.

Again… if they’d just talk about their lives a LITTLE BIT they’d realize they know some of the same people. Korrin would realize she actually knows a lot more about his people and the mate bond than he assumes…

Why haven’t either one of them brought up the Vultor enclave or Scarlett and Finnar? They have acquaintances in common that would help bridge the gap between their cultures… but neither think to bring them up?? Seems unlikely.
