Okay so turns out there was a reason but MC was a dumb bitch and didn’t question why the original story made zero sense

I still not really get why they can’t just take the kids out for an hour in the car while solicitor man comes?? Nothing really makes sense about the plot but I think we’re supposed to suspend disbelief at that?

Reading this and outlander at the same time was not a good idea - two vastly different Jamie’s is confusing me
