I got it ! Something kept nagging at me that this book was like.... this book reminds me of Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice. Its so similar, but the vampire being interviewed isn't as interesting to me so far.

Gods I'm tired of Gabriel

This is different from his other work. well written for sure but it feels like it's dragging a bit. I think it's the constant hate being thrown out by the MC telling his story. it's getting old I wish he'd move on from the worn out name calling
