The darkest nights still hold the stars,
Whose light has shown path to many wonders.

Sometimes peace for me,
Is just sitting by the window,
gazing the rain,
& listening to the thunders.

I wonder if things can hold memories,
The rose petals pressed between the chapters of an old book,
Now faded & worn, yet carrying ancient love,
A love too vast to be held, too fragile to endure.

I just want to walk the land alone,
Where chilled winter nights are celebrated
With campfires beneath the star-lit sky,
Gazing at snow-kissed peaks
Through misty glass windows.

In the dark time of night,
When all the souls are asleep,
With echoes of silence all around,
It is then the poet inside awakens.

I love the night more than the day,
For in its quiet depths,
It knows me,
More intimately than any other in this world.
