i want one thing and one thing only: for this book to end

1) among all the horrid men who could’ve been the “main evil”, author chose a woman whose “job” is to be raped
2) aaand we clearly see jess having a lot of himpathy. poor boys, how could they live and be normal

those men. even when they’re complaining about their unfortunate fate, they are still blaming HER (this time abstract but still)

ofc not only he has a child (probably several) but he also blames women for his ignorance, indifference and poor choices. raped one woman (many actually but rn we talk about one in particular) without any protection (imagine that rotting d) and still she was supposed to take care of all the consequences herself, destroyed reputation of the other so he had to marry her but ofc it’s their fault, he has a headache!

and now he is having rape fantasies. cool cool cool
