wishing there was a lot less backstory that I don't need. this could have really been shortened or removed entirely and cleverly worked in as relevant in later parts of the book.
the main characters haven't even met yet and all I feel is annoyed at her workplace misogyny and sad for his failed marriage. this is not the fun goofy romance the cover promises and it's already one sixth done
