Stunningly evocative stuff so far. Accidentally started this, clicking the wrong book in my kindle. Thought it was another chapter of Lost Souls. Now I have two Brite books going 😅 In both books I'm finding some of the most engaging and moving writing I've read all year. It's very rare that I truly get "lost" while reading, losing track of time and whatnot. But it's happening with these books.
