"I'm not trying to rule. I'm just trying to help." This, this right here is why I dislike Mac so much. Not only is she outright lying here, but nothing about her is (so far) equipped to lead other seers 🤣 she has zero connection to them, lacks knowledge about lore and their history, she's new to the world, she's not a natural born leader 🤡 i hate this storyline so much

I feel like with the amount of books we're already in, the plot is moving so slow 😔 it's same old same old dynamic and we still don't move in a decided direction, just wait for random stuff to move the plot 🫣

With the amount of information and lore Mac doesn't know yet, it's astonishing to me that she wanted to lead the seers and thought she had a chance against Rowena 🤷🏼‍♀️

Fianlly, the action begins 🫣

I love how the author writes in a way, that if you forgot what was happening in the previous books, you'll be gradually brought up to speed while reading. I remember this was a bit tedious when I read books 1-3 back to back, but now I'm so grateful for it ❤️
