I’m in the third chapter and finding it dragging and difficult to continue. I was hoping for an in-depth history of ten strikes. This book is much more thematic mentioning at least 20 strikes in chapter two all occurring during the gilded age proving the author’s point of the impact of industrialization on workers and their battles for better wages 8-hour work day. Will continue.
