Halfway through the book, the author feeds you the answer to the mystery in sideways hints and big red arrows. This is disappointing to read on top of a FMC that is not obviously unraveling. While her new semi-romantic partner fully believes that context matters regarding her experiences with spirituality, grief, and looking for something to call family. The other people in her life disagree. Who would you believe?
