Loved this in the beginning. The longer it goes on, the more terrible it makes me feel that I don’t have these super intense friendships or a perfectly clear memory of the summer I turned 15. Everyone is just so damn philosophical, even the 18 year old girl. All about art. Art, art, art is the jabbing for everything. This book feels smothering, in a way.
