Editors must be going extinct. I'm 14 hours into this audiobook and only at 40%. So much is completely unnecessary padding to a narrative that is only barely holding my attention. The author is pretty full of herself if she really thought all of this was important for context to a story with little to no complexity.

I still don't know how I feel about this.
