I am conflicted about this book. I quite enjoyed the writing and the wit. It is a beautiful book. But it is not a typical love story and I loathed Florentino Ariza. I think he is a degenerate. However my favorite part of the book is the last part where it seems like he got what he wanted all along, which in my opinion he didn't deserve. Overall I liked the book despite my dislike of the main character.
