In different ways, I fear we are losing future artists because of the unprecedented amount of distraction we have today. When not working, we have unlimited entertainment on demand. Social media encourages engagement even on the flimsiest prompts, and it offers never-ending content to fill people's spare time. Artists of any kind need time and 'head space' to practice their art.
