The last couple stories I haven't liked the sentence flow too much, but I did think this one was pretty sweet anyway. And I liked the way the previous story weaved in la llorena. Im visitint the DR again and remembered I was only part way through this anthology. Seemed a good opportunity to get back into it.

Im starting to realize this is a collection of supernatural/horror stories. Somehow I had gotten it in my head these were fantasy stories. I think theres other genres promised in this anthology too, so I'll hold out for them. I do like elements of the stories so far, but... I mean it probably doesn't help that a lot of these stories are about grief and that's unfortunately too relevant in my life right now.

Was surprised by the clown story, mainly because it didn't feel like a short story. It was more like a first chapter or excerpt :/ oh well.
