I'm amazed the book won a popular award. Not because it's badly written, but because the first 10% of it are all about sex. Very detailed sex scenes. In the old day, the book would have been sold in the category 18+ for adults only and quietly, shamefully discussed in the private online groups. Now it's on the full display

But it is badly written as well! Infantile dialogue, completely ridiculous for an award winner, unless they just want to cater to the lowest common denominator 😅. p.s. there is less sex in the later chapters.

Alan, the constant 'he says, she says' is perfect to put you to sleep :))) I don't think it's badly written though. Weird, yes.
