Getting better

Every-time a new detail is unveiled about a character it goes into a 1-3 page exposition explaining, in detail, where this trait came from in the characters past. It is redundant, boring, and really takes you out of the story. A lot of this backstory could come up more naturally through the actions and dialogue of the characters rather than having it shoved down my throat. Making it hard to continue reading.
