Wow! I flew the end of this book and finished it on 11/18. Final review to come but I feel like so much from what I watched in this story in anime was already packed in book 1 and I love all the additional context and details we are getting. I also love being in Wei Yeing's head. Of course, I had to order books 2 and 3 right away. Bring on those special editions.

Enjoying having the chance to read the novel of an anime series I thoroughly enjoyed. It's great to be able to have an even richer amount of detail and to get into the mind of Wei Wuxian. I will say I like that I watched the series first because I think it helps me to not get too lost in the details and world.
