I honestly don't know how much I like this book. Ive loved the whole series, but this one just isn't my cup of tea. It's about a widow and a widower an older couple and this isn't one of my favorite tropes.

So far it's really good. But I've Loved all of the books of this series.

The second one about salina is my favorite tho

Yes you can definitely read these as a standalone but they might give away a couple things about the other books because they do talk about the characters in the previous book.
Book four was the most enjoyable im my opinion.
