This isn't my first book that tackles the experiences of holocaust victims, but not even 30 pages in, and I've already teared up once.
Approaching this topic always brings lots of mixed feelings with it, as a German myself, but also being part of the minorities that were targeted at the time. This is going to be a very unpleasant and bitter, but necessary pill to swallow.
