this book is basically just the cia saying if you fund every side of a conflict you can’t lose (and no one will suspect you when you murder their leader)

this is ofc way more informational since it’s nonfiction but honestly the value of reading historical fiction cannot be overstated because i do find myself recognizing a lot of the players here from books i’ve read previously (specifically the poisonwood bible and homegoing) (!!!!)
