This book has been on my "reading" shelf since 2013 and apparently I made it through 69 percent before giving up smh. And do you think I remember any of it? Absolutely not.
But I accidentally bought the sequel from a bookshop because I liked the cover (not realising it was a sequel), so now I'm starting over with this one.

This kinda reminds me of Oscar Wilde's style of writing, although I hope the action picks up a bit soon -- it's been pretty monotonous so far.
