I walked across the Brooklyn Bridge for the first time this summer. It was colossal and stunning! My friend and I, who both love historical fiction, were trading book recommendations. She and her husband are retired engineers and she highly recommended this book. I was captivated from the start! A brilliant adaptation of something so monumental. I was sad to see it end. I long to walk it again one day with fresh eyes
