I hate to use the term privileged, cause I don’t believe in categorizing people that way, but this author truly has let her privileges get to her head. She very obviously either comes from wealth or has been so used to wealth for so long that she has let it get to her head & is hopelessly out of touch with the everyman. This isn’t a function of her privileges alone, but rather of her lack of awareness around it

There’s some good tidbits of advice so far, but this author is incredibly out of touch and tone deaf. Written in the thick of the Great Recession, she calls it a “transformed economy” and perpetuates the toxic narrative that moms can “do it all” when this is only true for the lucky few and/or wealthy and privileged such as herself (which she even admits, but then ignores).
