This is slow-going for me. Struggling to care about any of the characters. There’s a pervasively ominous dread that I’be come to expect with Morgan’s books, but this one just isn’t grabbing me. Putting it on pause for a little.

picked this up again last night and things definitely appeared to pick up a bit finally. I've read other reviews saying that from this point on, the book goes quite quickly. I fear it's too little too late though because at 71% I just don't care about the characters. The only thing keeping me going is my love for this author's previous two books encouraging me to give this one the benefit of the doubt and finish.
