God if Archer had died I would have RIOTED !! He has carried the middle of this book for me 🤌🏻

Hmmm I’m about halfway through and it’s not bad but it’s just not gripping me 🤔 it feels like a bit like most fantasy second books struggle with where everything and nothing happens 😬

Carrion and Kingfisher the duo we never knew we needed 🤌🏻

Okay thoughts so far, she assumed when she said don’t tell “him” she meant Kingfisher
I think she actually meant Tal
I think Tal is behind something maybe even the rot and I think this suffering tie ceremony thing is gonna be something else
And I think he is gonna betray Saeris and it’s all a plot for the vampire throne 🤔

I just got to chapter 7 and god damnnnn 😫🤦‍♀️
