My characters 3 rules for living life would be: Pretend, Try, and search for emotion/enjoyment. She doesn't really think she has a reason for living, and that once she goes home she will get sick of herself again. Those 3 rules are the reason she is getting sick of herself, I feel that once she changes those she might give herself more reasons to live for herself.
