I love that he spends a whole chapter hating on Alice Waters, but then immediately sympathizes & humanizes her when he actually met her in real life and begins to understand her specific stances on food to the point where he finds common ground with her on eating organic. He’s incredibly real for this, & it’s hilarious that he’ll take a sharp turn on a particular stance on food or something after processing it.
