Considering abandoning the book … it’s just not drawing me in. Cool concepts, mediocre execution.

I’m not very excited about this book. Just under z1/2 way in. It did both the Hugo and Nebula awards, so I figured I’d give it a try. But like so many other award winning books, my tastes diverge from those of the judges.
