I feel like we sometimes forget that violet’s mother was Indian during colonization like idk that feels important

Visander is still a very strange character

Like 1) who tf is he and 2) where did he come from and 3) why is he here???????

I mean I like him but I wasn’t expecting an entirely new main character to be introduced in the second book
