The intelligent part is cleansed by watchfulness, which is continuous guarding of the mind. The passionate part is cleansed by love the desiring part is cleansed by self control. All the parts are cleansed and sanctified by prayer.

Simply to acknowledge that theosis is the purpose of our life demands humility because without humility how will you acknowledge that the purpose of your life is outside yourself, that it is in God?

Of course, depending on the spiritual state of the Christians they can be either living or dead members of Christ body yet even when dead they do not cease to be members of it. Someone who is baptized has become a member of Christ body. If he does not confess does not receive communion does not live a spiritual life. He is a dead member of Christ body. But when he repents, he becomes a living member
