So far this book is the inverse of my experience of reading religious autobiographies. Most religious autobiographies are half biography and half philosophical dissertation. I am normally much more enthusiastic to read the theological half than the biographical half. Not here. His biography was exciting but the theological points are so deep in the foundations of Christian thought that they feel boring to me.
