so I I read into the book and it is a son of a dad and the dad is telling his story about ww2 and how the Jews got punish and more but he started from the very start and he had a couple girls and started a factory with his main girl that he loves the most a textile factory with her rich father that funded it now he dad is girl is sad and doesn't want to live so he take her on a trip so she feels more happy.

Life is very scary, and they often do not have enough food. In the end, they are found and captured by the Nazis, and they are sent to concentration camps.
