Wow! This book is incredibly good in my opinion. It's exposed things I've never really thought about.

- What did Jesus mean by "It is finished"?
- What is the "cup" and "cup of blessing" in the Passover / New Covenant?
- What does the Bible say "worship" is?
- How do participate in the New Covenant? (Hint: the Eucharist!)

So far, the book has only raised these questions but I'm excited to learn the answers :)!!

Wow this book is incredibly rich and sooooo hard to put down! I feel like I'm understanding the Last Supper through an ancient Jewish lens.

Before this book, I didn't appreciate how prevalent blood sacrifices were in worship (Jews, Greeks, Romans, Mayans, etc., all had animal sacrifices). I believe this understanding of worship = sacrifice is missing from our modern view & critical to understanding the Last Supper!
