The way Kafka writes (maybe because) he never intended the letter to „entertain“ anyone gives it a heartwarming touch and honesty. It really shows his raw personality, without covers and masks. It’s crazy how reflected and intelligent and at the same time how decent this man was. I wish he could’ve seen himself through the eyes of his million readers today. Really heartbreaking and makes one think a lot.

I absoluteste love the way Kafka talks. Im Reading it in German, because that’s the Original Language and I understand everything he’s saying on every level possible. He has such a complex relationship with his father. And I feel like highlighting every line cause everything is so important and powerful and the fact that he didn’t even notice his own strength is so sad. Wish this man could see himself now.
