Lotta cuckoo rules in Deuteronomy, and it's wild that Moses went all that way but didn't even get to cross the Jordan, but this is a p good way to end the Torah.

Already liking Deuteronomy more than I thought I would. It's super interesting to think of it as a revision of Jewish laws that is posing as a historical account (with all of the anachronistic stuff included maybe on purpose??) of Moses talking to the second generation of Israel before they go to Canaan.

Exodus done. Really interesting to learn about the origins of Passover and the introduction of the Sabbath. Sad about the innocent Egyptians that got killed... Also, why does God continue to harden Pharaoh's heart on purpose?? The references to and instructions about slavery were weird, but it was a different time. Speed-read through some of the instructions of the Tabernacle and the details of its construction.
