Yeah, I'm really not enjoying this. I gave book 1 a chance, despite having dnf'd many of the later books. I thought maybe I needed that introduction to endear me to the character of Reacher but, no, it made no difference. Does he even have a character? Maybe if he'd shed a tear for the death of his brother, or showed some inner turmoil of any kind I'd have found him more interesting.
