For nearly half the book I thought this was set in maybe the 1960s, as the characters are quite old-fashioned. When all of a sudden a character has an iPhone! so then I think, oh, it's contemporary. okaaaay. And then I find out that the guy had the iPhone in 2006 which actually makes Pursuit a time travel thriller. LOL. very much enjoying it despite the big blunder!
