Been locked into work this week so haven’t had much time to read. The length is definitely getting to me now, I think there is a lot of exposition and extra info that could’ve been shaved off this book.

Light read today, afternoon went by fast and I wasn’t able to read a whole lot. Surprised by how they are going back n forth between adults and kids during Part 4, not mad about it.

I noticed SK references pop culture a lot…and I mean a lot. Mostly celebrities and movies that I assume are from the 80s. It kind of takes me out of story a bit, not the biggest fan of how often it happens. The climatic scenes where they encounter IT are so masterfully done and have me hooked every single time. SK really goes there with the descriptions and was very surprised by how cruel pennywise is in the book.

‘Bev Rogan Pays A Call’ was genuinely the scariest and most creepy part of the book I’ve read thus far, it was so good
