I'm reading this story as part of my critique group to gain understanding of what one of my critique buddies is trying to capture in their own work and also to try and familiarize myself with this genre. Reading stories like this saddens my forever optimistic heart. But having said that, it is helping me understand the structure and plotting process this author used. I'm reading the kindle version.
