it pains me so much to see how gabe had an ugly impact on the way percy sees people, adults in general. also, i get that he is a little ridiculous at grover in the beginning but he IS a twelve year old feeling very confused. and probably so fucking scared. chiron sucks in this part with his dumbledore-ass behavior
