Back to a LOT of boardroom stuff and man it's a bore. White guys being white guys, and I'm a white guy. Also Eisner is coming across as a creative moron.

Pretty good period as we move away from board room squabbles and back to impacts of TV and Film. But man, Eisner and Iger do not come across good in this. I didn't like Iger much, especially the last decade of Iger and this just lends to that but Eisner, wow, this book has tanked my opinion of him. I get business is tough and there are no good people, so to speak, but he's ego is impossible to side with.

After a boring middle section, I think this book has recovered well. The TV stuff and the failings of ABC is so interesting. Still Eisner never comes across as good.

Not a huge effort on my part but not because this portion was boring, or anything to that effect.

I'm actually enjoying the TV stuff quite a bit.

Book has been boring since the second act, but the stuff regarding the Katzenberg court case, along with Millionaire & Survivor is really good.

Still Eisner comes across as insane.

This is becoming a slog. It's a well written, well reserved, thorough book but just the content is become a drag. Hearing Michael Eisner constant lack of faith in everyone and his ego, is becoming really off putting. Don't know if I'm going to finish this one all the way through or come back to it over time.

This is becoming a bit of a struggle to be motivated for. No one in the organisation acts like a human. I'm holding off the fate of despicable humans like Sandy Liduvac (spelling?) and Bass until after completion as to not have anything spoiled. It may sound like I'm invested but I wouldn't say that.

Just returned to this after about 3 months away, both from reading and this audiobook; and I'm instantly remembering why. I didn't expect a riveting cinematic drama piece, and I was really enjoying the first few hundred pages but this is starting to get bogged in corporate back and forth - it's impossible to like Eisner and be okay with the garbage Ovitz (spelling?) has put up with. It's all so childish.
