I’m putting NEA on pause to catch up on other ARCs, but so far, I’m enjoying it! The story focuses on FMC and her journey rather than the magic, which sets it apart from the Cinderella retelling and I love that. Surprisingly, the love triangle works, and I’m intrigued. I just hope Jin doesn’t disappoint. Unless something unexpected happens, I’d say this is shaping up to be a 3.5 ⭐ read for me.

I’m only at the beginning, but I can already tell this is a fast read. It’s been a while since I read a book by an Asian author, and I love how the writing manages to be simple yet lyrical, highlighting certain moments in the story beautifully.
