Status Update

Jennifer is 56% done

I am not sure if it because of the other books I am reading or listening to currently in addition to this one, but I am having such a hard time being drawn into this story. I think because it feels like there are so many extraneous conversations and scenes that don't really advance the plot. I love the characters - Emma and George Knightley - but I am more than 1/2 way through this, and it has been a slog for me.
