I wasn’t sure about it at first but it’s growing on me. I’m not a super huge fan of the high school vibes but the eldritch, weird fiction and writing is right up my alley. Skull-headed vultures? Perfection. The mayors head is just a giant flower? Amazing. Everyone is super weird? Wonderful.

The descriptions of the cryptids are fan-fucking-tastic. Definitely my favorite. The story is good too and I’m definitely more invested. I hope this author has another book or second book. The writing style of the cryptids is so good.
