Courtney (why did I request all these!?) Are you liking this? It sounds really interesting but the reviews are mixed

Sarah It’s psychological and basically you’re in the head of a man who wakes up from a coma and has no control or feeling in his whole body. He’s basically trapped in his body. You’re along for the ride while he struggles with the guilt of being alive, but feeling like this is no way to live, and reminiscing his whole life.

It’s slow paced but the book is a pretty short one. There’s some cultural nuances as well but I’m Korean and the original novel was written by a Korean in Korean, so that definitely helps. I’m not sure how I feel about it yet but it’s not boring to the point where I want to DNF it.

Cool thank you for the run down. A book being slow definitely does not make it bad. Ishiguro pretty much exclusively writes slow, contemplative books and he's my favorite author
